How the Subscription Leak Finder works

Small monthly charges are easy to forget: a ₹149 here, a ₹649 there, a free trial that quietly turned paid. Added up over a year, they often cost more than people expect. This tool reads your statement and finds them for you.

  1. Download a statement from your bank's net banking or app: 3 to 12 months, as Excel, CSV or PDF. Credit card statements work too.
  2. Drop it here. Your browser reads every transaction. If the PDF is password-protected, type the password; it's used only to open the file on your device.
  3. We match each debit against 55+ subscription services popular in India (Netflix, Amazon Prime, JioHotstar, Spotify, YouTube Premium, ChatGPT Plus, Google One, Apple, LinkedIn and more), and look for any other payment that repeats every week, month, quarter or year at the same amount.
  4. You get the list: monthly and yearly totals, price increases, duplicate charges, and a step-by-step cancellation guide for each service, including how to stop the UPI AutoPay mandate.

Privacy: SalaryTruth has no server-side code for this tool. The statement is processed with JavaScript in your browser and is gone when you close the tab. We don't store, upload or see your transactions. Our analytics only counts that the tool was used.

Accuracy: matching is based on statement descriptions, which differ by bank. Untick anything that isn't a subscription, and change the billing cycle if a yearly plan is shown as monthly. Results are for your information only.

Frequently Asked Questions

Finding and cancelling subscriptions in India.

How do I find all my subscriptions in India?
Download 3 to 12 months of bank and credit card statements from net banking and drop them into the Subscription Leak Finder. It lists every recurring charge, including UPI AutoPay, card auto-debits and app-store subscriptions. Also check the AutoPay section of every UPI app you use (see how to see all UPI AutoPay mandates) and the subscriptions page of Google Play or the Apple App Store.
Is it safe to upload my bank statement here?
The statement is not uploaded anywhere. Your browser opens and reads the file on your own device using JavaScript; SalaryTruth has no server code for this tool and never receives your transactions. You can disconnect from the internet after the page loads and it still works.
How do I see all UPI AutoPay mandates?
Each UPI app shows the mandates created in it: Google Pay (profile → Autopay), PhonePe (profile → AutoPay), Paytm (Automatic Payments) and BHIM (Mandates). BHIM's UPI Help section can also show mandates linked to your bank account across apps. Cancel any you no longer need with your UPI PIN.
Why does ChatGPT or another app charge a different amount every month?
Services billed in US dollars (ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, GitHub and others) are converted to rupees at the day's exchange rate, plus your card's foreign-currency markup and GST. So the rupee amount changes slightly each month even though the plan price is the same.
Which bank statements does this work with?
Excel and CSV downloads from any Indian bank work best: HDFC, ICICI, SBI, Axis, Kotak, IDFC FIRST, Yes Bank, IndusInd and others. Text-based PDF statements, including password-protected ones, also work. Scanned image PDFs cannot be read.
