  1. Cancel from the store you subscribed through: Google Play or Apple Subscriptions.
  2. Deleting the app does not stop billing.

Cancelling inside the service is the main step. If you paid with UPI AutoPay, a card standing instruction or a NACH mandate, check that the mandate is gone too.
