Cancel on the website

  1. Sign in at spotify.com/account on a browser (the app does not let you cancel).
  2. Open Manage your plan / Available plans.
  3. Choose Cancel Premium and confirm.

Good to know: Your account switches to Spotify Free at the end of the billing period; playlists stay. If you subscribed through Google Play, cancel there.

Cancelling inside the service is the main step. If you paid with UPI AutoPay, a card standing instruction or a NACH mandate, check that the mandate is gone too.
