Cancel on the website

  1. Sign in to admin.google.com as the account admin.
  2. Billing → Subscriptions → select the plan → Cancel subscription.
  3. Export your mail and Drive first (takeout.google.com): data is deleted after cancellation.

Cancelling inside the service is the main step. If you paid with UPI AutoPay, a card standing instruction or a NACH mandate, check that the mandate is gone too.
