Cancel on the website

  1. Open play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions (or Play Store app → profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions).
  2. Tap the app you want to stop.
  3. Tap Cancel subscription and confirm.

Good to know: Every app you subscribed to through an Android phone (Truecaller, Tinder, Duolingo, LinkedIn, Spotify, etc.) is billed as a Google charge, so one line on your statement can be several subscriptions. Uninstalling an app does NOT cancel its subscription.

Cancelling inside the service is the main step. If you paid with UPI AutoPay, a card standing instruction or a NACH mandate, check that the mandate is gone too.
